While much of the region continued to be impacted by active weather through the night and morning, drying mid-levels cleared skies over the Grand and Paradox Valleys. Dense fog already began to develop at this point, but as the frontal boundary supporting the precipitation dipped south, cooling temperatures prolonged dense fog throughout the majority of the morning.

The KAIB AWOS at Hopkins Field in Nucla, Colorado reported a prolonged period of 1/4-mile visibility due to dense fog and freezing fog, lasting beyond sunrise. No reports of injuries, damages, or fatalities were received.
