Episode narrativeepisode_narrativeFollowing widespread rains that fell across much of the Four State Region on January 21st, a clearing sky and light winds allowed for areas of dense fog to develop across portions of extreme Northeast Texas, Southeast Oklahoma, and adjacent sections of Southwest Arkansas during the early morning hours of the 22nd. This resulted in visibilities falling to near or less than a quarter of a mile at times, which contributed to a motor vehicle accident on Highway 82 just east of the Annona community in Eastern Red River County. Unfortunately, one fatality resulted from this accident, with no additional injuries reported.
