Episode narrativeepisode_narrativeDense fog developed over much of central and south central Kansas on the morning of November 6th. Airport observations indicated visibility dropped to 1/4 of a mile at times. There were numerous vehicle accidents across the region with some injuries.
Event narrativeevent_narrativeMultiple vehicular accidents were reported across the county during the morning hours in dense fog. A dense fog advisory was in effect at the time of the accidents. The closest observation site was Hutchinson Municipal Airport (KHUT) which observed visibilities down to a 1/4 of a mile at the time. One crash did include a few injuries.
