| Episode narrativeepisode_narrative | Clearing skies and light winds over the San Joaquin Valley during the morning of November 17 allowed for areas of dense fog to form by daybreak as some low level moisture remained as a result of the system which moved through the area two days before. This was the first widespread dense fog event in the area as visibility was reduced to an eighth of a mile or less at several locations, and several school districts either opened late or delayed bus service for the first time this season as a result of the fog. The fog dissipated by late morning as another incoming system provided for some mixing to take place. |
| Event narrativeevent_narrative | Several webcams showed visibility below 1000 feet. Several school districts opened late because of dense fog. |
