| Episode narrativeepisode_narrative | Moist, light south winds contributed to areas of dense fog during the pre-dawn hours. |
| Event narrativeevent_narrative | Two car accidents occurred within 15 minutes of each other in inland Flagler county during the predawn hours, likely due to poor visibility from fog in the area. A car accident near the intersection of State Road 100 and County Road 305 resulted in 1 fatality. Another car accident occurred around 6 am at State Road 100 and Water Oak Road which caused 2 fatalities. Dense fog was a possible contributor to both crashes per local News Reports, however, at this time, both accidents remain under investigation by Law Enforcement. The Flagler County Sheriff closed State Road 100 from near County Road 305 westward to the Putnam County line that morning after the crashes due to foggy conditions. |
