episode_narrativeEasterly winds of 30 to 40 MPH on April 11th lead to high water levels over the Western Lake Erie basin and large wave action, causing lakeshore flooding. The water level at Toledo peaked just above 90 inches above Low Water Daturm, while Fermi and Gibralter both peaked out around 78 inches during the afternoon hours. Residents were evacuated in Frenchtown Charter Township and Luna Pier, as homes were impacted with some homes under water.
