| episode_narrative | Rainfall amounts of an inch and a half to two inches, coupled with recent snowmelt led to many creeks overflowing their banks. An ice jam along the Bird Creek caused some minor flooding in downtown Port Austin. An additional ice jam developed along the Pigeon River in Caseville. Law enforcement and trained weather spotters reported numerous road closures from the ponding of water, as well as many streams, tributaries, and drainage ditches over their banks. |
