episode_narrativeRainfall began late in the morning across eastern upper Michigan. Spotter reports and WSR-88D rainfall estimates indicated 2 to 5 inches of rain over eastern portions of the county. The bulk of of the rain fell within a fairly short time frame (3 to 6 hours). Some roadways flooded and a few dirt roads washed out from Rudyard and Kinross northward along I-75 and M-129 to Sault Ste. Marie. Roadway flooding was also reported on Sugar Island. The only report of flood damage to property came from Sugar Island, where a garage floor had some standing water on it. The home suffered no monetary damage, and no businesses were affected.
