episode_narrativeA slow moving cold front brought heavy rains to southeast Michigan on the 7th. The total at the National Weather Service office in White Lake reached 1.87 inches. The Middle Rouge River at Garden City exceeded its 7.0 foot flood stage at 9 pm EST on the 7th cresting at 7.1 feet during the early morning hours on the 8th. The river went back below flood stage at 11 am on the 8th. Some minor flooding occurred along the Edward Hines Parkway.
