| episode_narrative | Extensive flash flooding was reported across the northern half of Van Buren county. Rainfall totals in the South Haven area were reported to be between 4 and 5 inches, and totals of 3 to 4 inches were common across the remainder of the affected area. Traffic on I-196, in one direction, was halted by flooding at the M43 overpass. Bangor had city drains overflowing. South Haven reported 20 residences with flooded basements. The intersection of 12th Avenue and 26th Street in Pinegrove Township, near Kendall, was washed away. |
