| episode_narrative | A significant dust devil formed in the greater Phoenix metropolitan area during the afternoon hours on May 4th. Conditions on this day were favorable given mostly sunny skies and very warm temperatures; the high temperature in Phoenix reached 96 degrees. The dust devil formed about 7 miles southwest of central Phoenix during the middle of the afternoon and managed to damage the tile roofs of about 6 homes. The dust devil was highly visible and pictures were posted by the public on social media. No injuries were reported, fortunately. |
