The total monthly rains were mostly 1.5 to 2.5 inches across the 4 counties. Charley of Lawrence County reported just an inch of rain for the entire month. The hottest weather was from the 6th through the 13th, peaking around 100 degrees on the 9th and 10th. On the 9th, Grayson and Ashland had 98 degrees. On the 10th, Ashland reached 100 degrees.
