| episode_narrative | Rainfall fell well short of normal across southern Vermont during the month of April. Ball Mountain Lakereported only 0.97 inches of rainfall for the entire month, which was 2.93 inches below normal. Pownal had 1.15 and Sunderland only 0.88 inches. The combination of low rainfall, along with frequent gusty winds, turned the underbrush into tinder. This scenario led to some brush fires during the month across both Bennington and Windham counties. |
