Episode narrativeepisode_narrativeAn unseasonably cool high pressure system moved across western Wisconsin during the morning of the 21st. As a result clear skies and calm winds allowed temperatures to cool into the lower to middle 30s between 3 and 8 AM. Areas of frost caused damage to the top leaves of soybean crops in St. Croix, Polk, Barron, and Rusk counties. Low lying areas were hardest hit. Crop yield losses related to the frost damage were unknown.
