At Martinsburg Regional Airport the temperature fell to 2 degrees. This exceeded the previous record of 12 degrees set in 1928. Other low temperatures recorded across included 7 degrees at Berkeley Springs, 5 at Sugar Grove, 2 at Keyser and Lost River, zero at Romney, and 6 below at Moorefield.
