Episode narrativeepisode_narrativeA chilly airmass continued to occupy much of eastern New York and adjacent New England during the overnight hours of May 22. With a clear sky and calm winds, temperatures once again dipped to between 25 and 32 degrees across extreme southern Vermont, producing the second widespread freeze event in three nights. Despite the freeze, no crop or plant damage was reported to the National Weather Service.
