Overnight, the post frontal Arctic airmass settled into the Panhandle and dropped surface temperatures into the single digits. With sustained wind speeds of 25 to 30 mph, wind chill values plummeted into the minus 15 to minus 25 degree range by 4 AM CST on the 5th.
