| Episode narrativeepisode_narrative | Following the passage of a strong cold front on the 13th, high pressure settled into Arkansas. Unseasonably cold weather occurred on the mornings of the 15th and 16th. On the 15th, all of northern Arkansas had a freeze, as did some locations in central and southern Arkansas. The lowest temperature recorded on the morning of the 15th was 23 at Mammoth Spring (Fulton Co.). Little Rock Air Force Base's low of 31 tied the record for the latest spring freeze ever recorded there. Only a few stations reported freezing temperatures on the morning of the 16th. |
