| Episode narrativeepisode_narrative | The third intrusion of modified arctic air into South Florida occurred from December 26th through the 29th with the coldest mornings occurring on the 27th and 28th. The duration of the third event was slightly shorter than the previous event, however temperatures where about the same. This event also ensured that the average temperature for December would remain well below average keeping the area on pace to reach the coldest December in recorded history for the region.
