While two cooperative stations are normally cooler than most, even these stations were significantly cold enough to justify a more widespread freeze. At the retreat 7 miles east of Sarita, a record low for the date of 25F was set, and the observing post at Armstrong, about 20 miles to the south, dipped below 30F. |
