One child was pulled away from shore by a rip current and was rescued by an adult male prior to the arrival of first responders. The child was uninjured and the child's mother refused medical transport. The adult rescuer was in serious condition and was transported to the Medical University of South Carolina's (MUSC) hospital in Charleston. |
