| Episode narrativeepisode_narrative | Powerful Hurricane Dorian passed 100 miles to the east of Palm Beach County over the northwestern Bahamas. As Dorian tracked very slowly through Abaco and Grand Bahama islands, outer rain bands produced wind gusts of tropical storm force over Southeast Florida, with sustained tropical storm force winds along parts of coastal Palm Beach County. A peak storm surge of 1-2 feet was observed along portions of the Atlantic coast particularly during high tide. |

Water over-topped seawalls in along portions of Broward County during times of high tide. This caused generally 2 feet or less of inundation of adjacent streets, parking lots, and docks. A few dockside structures had minor water intrusion. |
