episode_narrativeStrong high pressure built to the north of the region with a tight presure gradient over the coastal waters from North Carolina to Florida. This developed strong north to northeasterly winds and a coastal trough along the Florida east coast. These conditions are known locally as a northeaster. High surf and minor beach erosion occurred in Duval and Nassau Counties of northeast Florida.
