Event narrativeevent_narrativePressure differences caused by a large thunderstorm complex moving through the area induced a seiche in Keweenaw Bay. A significant rise in water of up to five feet in Keweenaw Bay impacted the Baraga Marina, the campground near Sand Point and many others along the bay. Debris was washed up on US Highway 41 prompting a brief closure.
