Hazardous seas and surf zone conditions led to a rip current rescue in Boca Raton.
Event narrativeevent_narrativeA rip current pulled a women out into the ocean just before 8 p.m. in the waters south of Boca Raton���s South Inlet Park, between the Palm Beach and Broward County lines. A man swam out to save her, but got caught in the rip current himself. Crews from Ocean Rescue, Boca Raton Fire Rescue and Broward County Fire Rescue helped save the swimmer. The woman was taken to a Broward County hospital.
