The cold air mass filtered in during the night and light rain transitioned over to snow as temperatures fell below freezing. Accumulations were less than an inch, however icy spots closed bridges across the area which produced travel problems. Strong north winds from a front on the 12th and again on the 16th produce low tides along the coast for 6 cycles.
