Two were rescued by lifeguards and a few others made it back to shore on their own. An 18-year old male was pulled from the water by a beachgoer and lifeguards, but was unresponsive. CPR was initiated and he was taken to a nearby hospital where he died one week later (March 20). An autopsy indicated he died from drowning. |
