Episode narrativeepisode_narrativeA series of large swells from the northwest boosted surf into the ranges of 15 to 35 feet along the north-facing shores, and 10 to 20 feet along the west-facing shores, of Niihau, Kauai, Oahu, Molokai, and Maui. Lifeguards were busy with more than 2500 preventive actions and more than a dozen rescues, and that was just one day, as the surf pounded the islands' beaches. However, no serious injuries or property damage were reported.
