| Episode narrativeepisode_narrative | A moderate, short-period, north-northeast swell caused surf of 6 to 10 feet along the east-facing shores of Kauai, Oahu, Molokai, Maui, and the Big island of Hawaii. There were no reports of significant property damage or injuries, though a portion of Bayfront Highway along Hilo Bay was closed for a time because of the high surf and debris on the roadway, and a partial closure of a parking area at Leleiwi Park because of waves flowing onto the pavement. Both closures were on the 14th. |
