One man drowned on the 8th on the north shore of Kauai, in an area to the east of Kilauea called Larsen's Beach. The surf was reported to have been high at the time, according to the online site Honolulu Civil Beat. There were no reports of serious property damage, or any other fatalities or significant injuries. |
