Episode narrativeepisode_narrativeA swell from Tropical Storm Guillermo generated surf of 10 to 20 feet along the east-facing shores of Kauai, Oahu, Molokai, Maui, and the Big Island of Hawaii. The exceptionally high surf forced county officials to close beaches in Maui and on the Big Island on the 5th. The high water also brought debris onto coastal roads near the inundation areas. There were no reports of serious property damage or injuries.
