The lowest tides occurred during the night of the 7th. At Reedy Island, the lowest tide reached 2.17 feet below mean lower low water. At Delaware City, the lowest tide reached 2.21 feet below mean lower low water. Blowout tide conditions start at 1.80 feet below mean lower low water. On the 8th, the northwest winds started to decrease and backed more toward the west. Subsequent low tide cycles did not reach blowout tide conditions.
