episode_narrativeThe combination of the runoff from the heavy rain from the remnants of Hurricane Jeanne and the spring tides associated with the full moon caused minor tidal flooding during four successive high tide cycles on the New Jersey side of the Delaware River and tidal sections of its tributaries. Tidal flooding began with the high tide just after midnight EDT on the 29th and ceased after the afternoon high tide on the 30th. The highest tides occurred with the high tide just after midnight EDT on the 29th. That high tide reached 10.26 feet above mean lower low water in Burlington. Minor tidal flooding begins at 9.0 feet above mean lower low water.
