| Event narrativeevent_narrative | Palm Beach County Fire Rescue responded to a call around 5:37 PM EDT that as many as six swimmers were caught in a strong rip current. Upon arrival, rescue crews discovered that there were a total of four swimmers and an unknown number of rescuers. The four swimmers had already been rescued by bystanders and left the scene. One adult male, however, had been caught in a rip current helping to rescue young swimmers at Kreusler Park and was transported to JFK Medical Center in critical condition. |
