As the rip current pulled them into deeper water, several people tried to assist them. Although all were returned to shore, one of them, a 65 year old male tourist from Colorado did not have a heartbeat or pulse. After being transported to a local hospital and being placed on life support, he regained a pulse, but then died on November 13. |
