| Episode narrativeepisode_narrative | The combination of a strong northwest flow around an anomalously strong (for late May) low pressure system slowly moving through the New England coastal waters and larger tidal spreads associated with the full moon caused pockets of blowout tides to occur during both low tide cycles on the 25th along tidal sections of the Delaware River and its tributaries. The lowest tide in Philadelphia reached 1.69 feet below mean lower low water. Blowout tides start at 1.80 feet below mean lower low water. |
