Episode narrativeepisode_narrativeOn November 19th Eastern North Carolina was located between strong high pressure building in from the north and a stalled coastal low pressure off the Southeastern U.S. coast. These features placed the region in a persistent northeast flow with elevated seas and rough surf conditions. One fisherman was swept off the beach near the south end of Portsmouth Island during the afternoon hours and was not found until December 2nd.
