Episode narrativeepisode_narrativeStrong rip currents developed on Friday, July 27th. Four people were swimming near North Avenue Beach when a strong current carried them further out in the lake until they could no longer feel the lake's bottom. The group held onto each other until another wave forced them apart. A 12 year old girl went under water and was missing for at least 10 minutes. Once pulled to shore, she was taken to the hospital and died from her injuries three days later.
