Event narrativeevent_narrativeTwo swimmers, a 65-year-old man and 15-year-old girl, were rescued from rip currents by lifeguards along Fort Lauderdale Beach near Tower 13 at the 900 block of North Atlantic Blvd. Both were taken to the hospital and recovered.||A high risk of rip currents was in place for all of Southeast Florida, although Fort Lauderdale Ocean Rescue personnel were only flying yellow flags.
