The water rose over the road going to Fort Morgan and forced several residents to evacuate. The tide gage at Fort Morgan measured a storm tide of 7.5 feet with a surge of 6.9 feet. The gage at Perdido Pass had a storm tide height of 3.9 feet with a surge of 3.2 feet. The surge caused about $.5M of damage to the beaches.
