Fort Lauderdale Fire and Rescue responded to the call shortly after 4:30pm. The Fort Lauderdale Police Department dive team located the body shortly after 8pm. Conditions at the time of the drowning consisted of breezy easterly winds, surf action, and a high risk of rip currents. |
