Episode narrativeepisode_narrativeIn the early morning of August 15th, three young men jumped into Lake Michigan near Elder Lane Park Beach in Winnetka. The nearby Wilmette buoy was reporting waves 5 to 8 feet with northeast winds gusting to 30 mph. Two of the men were able to pull themselves out of the water. A third man, who was 19 years old never resurfaced. His body was found two days later.
