Companions quickly found the skier under 2 feet of debris after 7 minutes of searching using transceivers. He was unconsious when found but quickly recovered and was able to return back to their cars under his own power but with some assistance. The avalanche fell 500 vertical feet and occurred on a northwest aspect at about 11,700 feet.
