event_narrativeThe first of two avalanches near mile-marker 345 on US-93 that crossed the highway located just south of Lost Trail Pass, was 900 feet in length, 24 feet wide and 6 to 8 feet deep. A second avalanche occurred approximately 18 minutes later at 7:30 am MST at the same location and was 100 feet in length, 12 feet side, and 6 to 8 feet deep. One lane of US-93 was opened up by 8:30 am MST and by 10 am MST all lanes were open. No injuries or vehicle damage was reported.
