| episode_narrative | Two skiers were caught in an avalanche along Dry Gulch, which is east of the Eisenhower Tunnel. One skier was killed when he was buried under 2 to 3 feet of snow; the other suffered minor injuries. It took approximately 15 minutes for the injured skier to locate his friend, and another 15 minutes to excavate him and initiate CPR. |
