| episode_narrative | An in-bounds avalanche slammed into the Bridger Restaurant at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort at 0926MST after being triggered by a ski patrol bomb. The slide injured five ski patrollers and caused damage to the restaurant deck. One of the patrollers was buried in snow up to his neck. The force of the avalanche blasted through doors and windows, piling snow up to eight feet deep inside the building. At least a dozen feet of snow was pushed against the back wall of the restaurant. |
