| episode_narrative | Conditions were favorable at times for avalanches to occur across the higher terrain of Southwest Montana. A couple of the more significant avalanches have been included in Storm Data. |
| event_narrative | Two natural soft slab avalanches near Ernie Miller ridge. Avalanche warning in effect at the time. Observers noted many collapses and whumpfs in the snowpack. Looking toward Ernie Miller Ridge, observers noted an old crown in the main bowl just below the summit. It was on an ENE aspect, 200 or more feet wide and looked to be filled in with new snow but was still visible. Looking east from the top of the ridge, observers noted another crown on a west aspect that looked to be about 100 wide and deep. |
