Flooding was reported at the Fire Station (2-4' of water), at the AT&T equipment building, the old DOT buildings, and the Library parking lot and the Legislative Information Office were sandbagged. Flood waters were also noted at the Bureau of Land Management parking areas and roadways, surrounding some of the cabins, and blocking the roads. Pictures and reports showed the river had high, swift, dangerous waters. The Gulkana River flooded as well.
